Strongly condemn the brutal assault on a Bank of India officer while discharging official duties in Bagru, Jaipur. Such attacks on public servants performing recovery and banking functions are unacceptable and strike at the rule of law.

We request the District Administration and Police to ensure adequate security so that the branch can function normally and banking services to the public remain uninterrupted. Strict action against the accused must continue to send a strong deterrent message.

The hostel conditions are unsatisfactory students are facing serious health issues because of poor hygiene and lack of proper care. Such negligence directly affects students.

India is 100% digital… but bankers are still working on a 1995 timetable.

UPI runs 24×7. ATMs work 365 days.
Digital payments never sleep —
only bankers are expected to.

🔹 90% routine banking is mobile & UPI, yet humans follow a 6-day “legacy protocol.”
🔹 Cash counters dropped by 60–70%, but pressure didn’t get the memo.
🔹 Technology upgraded instantly; human recharge time is still “under review.”
🔹 A 6-day week fuels burnout and fatigue — clearly not the smartest digital upgrade.
🔹 5-Day Banking saves thousands of crores, but rest is still treated as a premium feature.

The irony is that India built a lightning-fast digital economy but forgot to update the humans running it.

The simple truth is bankers are asking for 5-Day Banking not for comfort, but because humans — unlike machines — need a restart.
