ਸ਼ਬਦ ਤੇ 'ਪੰਜਾਬ' ਵੀ ਫ਼ਾਰਸੀ ਦਾ ਹੈ......ਗੱਲ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਏਨੀ ਆ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਨ ਤੇ ਚੜਿਆ.....ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕੋਈ ਔਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ....... ਗੱਲ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸਮਝਣ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਆ........ ਸਾਡੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਉਰਦੂ - ਫ਼ਾਰਸੀ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਆ.......ਇਹ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ...... ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਆ.....
ਇਕ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਨਹੀਂ........

स्पेन में 13 वर्षीय एक युवती का उसके पड़ोसी ने अपहरण कर उसके साथ दुष्कर्म किया। आरोपी को केवल 9 साल की सजा सुनाई गई।

सजा के केवल 6 साल पूरे करने के बाद उसे पैरोल पर रिहा कर दिया गया और वह फिर उसी शहर में लौट आया। एक दिन बस स्टॉप के पास उसकी मुलाकात पीड़िता की मां से हुई।

उसने तंज कसते हुए पूछा, "तुम्हारी बेटी कैसी है?"
मां का सब्र टूट गया। वह पेट्रोल लेकर लौटी, आरोपी पर पेट्रोल डाला और उसे आग लगा दी।

आरोपी गंभीर रूप से झुलस गया और कुछ दिनों बाद उसकी मौत हो गई।

महिला भागी नहीं। सदमे की हालत में होने के बावजूद उसने आसपास मौजूद लोगों को बताया कि उसने क्या किया है और पुलिस के आने का इंतजार किया।

उसे साढ़े पाँच साल की सजा सुनाई गई; लेकिन उसे माफ़ किए जाने की मांग को लेकर चले व्यापक जन अभियान के बाद रिहा कर दिया गया।

He has been recently appointed as a
'Commissioner of the State's Food and Drug Administration (FDA)' in Maharashtra.

Since taking charge, his dept has been in a mission mode – raiding illegal, fake, synthetic, and adulterated products.

We are now drugged with fake paneer, fake milk, fake vegetables, fake fruits, and fake sweets.

Adulteration has taken deep root, even among the biggest food outlets across the country.

We need such officers here in Bangalore as well; I cannot directly name them, but I know many big popular outlets are not following proper cleanliness and safety norms.

These actions also demonstrate the capability of an honest, hard-working bureaucrat. They have immense influence and power to bring changes on a ground level.

His journey has not been easy. He has been transferred more than 25 times in the past 21 years. But it didn't dent his working style.

If one honest officer can bring such a huge change in such a short span of time, then what's stopping other bureaucrats and officers from being proactive like Tukaram?
