@HayfieldesSTEM@FCPSSTEAM With a nod to the "A" in @FCPSSTEAM, their funnel/dispenser is not only a functional engineering design solution, but it's beautifully designed, too.
The classroom isn’t the only place students can learn. Check out these easy ways to get any student learning outside of the classroom. https://t.co/vJK8eOa3tT
@theresawills@theresawills Next time you get the itch to sub for a day, Title I Hutchison ES in Herndon is often in desperate need of several subs and has several Wills fan girls on staff who would love it if you subbed and shared your knowledge with us! Thanks for all you do.
"If something as simple as getting outside can help, it’s worth considering—especially with the knowledge that it’s healthier to be outside anyway."

@FCPSSTEAM Patterns in nature are everywhere! Join my daughter and me for a Nature's Patterns Virtual Field Trip at https://t.co/vlYfQrLidZ. You'll even SEE what the pattern of a cardinal's birdsong looks and sounds like. @FCPSSTEAM@fcpsGet2Green
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When life gives you a snow storm, make snow ice cream! My daughter just surprised me with this sweet and creamy treat! https://t.co/EJkdZjRDI7
I just supported @MrsParkshine on @buymeacoffee 🎉 to say thanks for her awesome free slide deck templates to engage Ss, esp. ELLs & SPED, Language Arts & SEL.

@SammiW34949961 @MrTomRad @SammiW34949961, tx so much for your perspective (& your efforts). I'd love your insight-what do you wish your teachers would do differently? How can we make online learning more do-able and enjoyable for students in situations like yours? What works?
"Waterfall Chat"=increased S engagement during synchronous learning: Ss type responses in chat but don't hit send until T signals, "Now!" -> chat window is flooded w/discussion-starters. The iota of tension to be 1st poster may up engagement for Ss who have a competitive streak.
Here's a distance-learning tip I'll use often: Share YouTube videos with students without the ads! Get a link to a full-screen, view-only version of a YouTube video by adding a hyphen after the "t" in "tube" in the video's URL.
Sharing a @YouTube video? Add a hyphen after the "t" in the URL & it creates an ad-free, full-screen, view-only link!
(But, click on the screen & you get an option for more videos Or, click on the title & it takes you to YouTube home) Thanks @kerszi for this visual! #ItsCool 😎
The force is strong with my 4th graders. Already achieved 97% class accuracy using The Fast and the Curious method for learning vocabulary. #EDUProtocols
