@NovaKatz @robertkaplinsky @ablinstein @ProfessorMarin My team’s experience during “set up” for a session at an annual conf this year: 45 min before, we found a venue helper, moved out long tables, put in cocktail tables, and set up the room BTC style. Folks loved it…the organizers did not. All others were a trad. setup. Thoughts?

@k8roulette2 Teaching is hard. Staying enthusiastic is hard. Summer vacay is precious. If folks go to any conference, paid to attend (fabulous), not paid (even more kudos), can we just be positive and say “way to try to learn more to help kids!!!”

@pwharris 16 is 32% of 50 because I kept halving. Then 8 is 16% of the missing number. So 4 is 8%, and 2 is 4%, and 1 is 2%, and .5 is 1%. Now to scale up. I need 100%, so 100 groups of 1% means 100 groups of .5, which makes 50.
