Last night dozens of community advocates in Danville celebrated the @USSupremeCourt decision to keep the ban on uranium mining in Virginia. It is their persistence that helped get the ban in place over 30 years and has kept it in place ever since. https://t.co/8TCgBB13UQ
“Overlay a map of any American City, and in the higher income neighborhoods, you will find that there are typically more trees there. How fair is it that people who are already wealthier have more trees too?” https://t.co/QJQKJCSpBh
Had the opportunity to attend the Loudoun Soil and Water Conservation District Board meeting in #Leesburg. It was great to see the behind-the-scenes work that goes on in order to secure cost-share and technical assistance #grants for local farmers! @LoudounFarms#PECFellows
Toured the Woolen Mills #Redevelopment site in #Charlottesville! This industrial building made uniforms for soldiers in the 1860s and is now being transformed into an office and event space. This brings an old beautiful building into the modern world #Restoration#PECFellows
"Maintaining and expanding tree cover will be an increasingly important investment to protect public health, one part of how cities can adapt to a hotter world." https://t.co/8HNhRN0WXe

Lots of #GIS mapping going on here @ PEC today! This is the #viewshed that a cellular tower on Short Hill Mountain interrupts as relating to the historical resources in the area.
