Que nadie me despierte de este sueño, el de un niño de Los Palacios que sueña con ganar la Copa del Mundo con su país jugando en la plaza del pueblo, y ahora, con 21 años, cumpliéndolo en Nueva York, con un grupo de animales que pasará a la historia y quedará para siempre en el recuerdo de todos.

Cada uno con su historia, la fuerza de este grupo ha hecho que consigamos la segunda estrella para este país y millones de personas celebren este éxito, porque esto, se tiene que celebrar! Mi historia es la de haberlo pasado mal los últimos años por las lesiones pero gracias a los míos, mi familia, amigos, y todo el trabajo y sacrificio hecho para llegar hasta aquí, hoy puedo decir que ha valido la pena y volvería a pasar por todo y más.

Le debo mucho a mucha gente, empezando por mi familia, a la Liara, al Betis, a toda la gente de Masia que me acogió desde el primer día, entrenadores y staffs del FC Barcelona, que me hicieron crecer como futbolista y persona y llegar hasta poder ser campeón del mundo. Y un recuerdo especial para mi abuela, por esa fuerza extra que me diste estos últimos meses, estoy seguro que me has ayudado desde allá arriba.
