there were three iranian ships that came for naval exercise on 25th feb.

they were offered shelter in India.

> one ship took that offer and is docked in Kochi.

> second ship declined the offer. went ahead, as war raged. they asked permission from sri lanka to stay. the chinese controlled port in sri lanka made them wait for 11 hours, then declied. as the ship went in international waters, it was torpedoed by USA. India helped immediately when the call for help reached.

> third one took shelter in sri lanka.

there was a concerted effort from pakistan and china to defame india on this!
