Charlie Kirk was a racist!

What did he actually say? Let’s do this.

He said white privilege is a lie, not because he hates minorities, but because he believes you cannot build a healthy society by telling one group they are forever guilty and another that they are forever victims. That is not racism, that is the rejection of racism as an organizing principle.

He went after Critical Race Theory, not because he denied racism ever existed, but because he believed it chains us to a permanent state of grievance instead of moving forward. He pointed out the absurdities in DEI programs, the very ones that tell you a Black pilot is there because of “diversity goals,” not because of skill. Think about that. Who is insulting black professionals more? Those who want equal standards applied to everyone, or those who quietly wonder if the pilot in the cockpit is just a quota hire?

Yes, he said the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was a “mistake,” and people scream that proves he’s racist. His critique was not “I don’t want civil rights for black people,” it was that federal overreach eroded freedom, and in the long run, gave bureaucrats the power to re-engineer society. That is a constitutional critique, not a racial slur. You may disagree with it, but disagreement with government policy does not make you Bull Connor.

And yes, he even touched the sacred cow of Martin Luther King Jr., saying the mythology around him is inflated. That makes people recoil. But notice: questioning the untouchable legends of American history is not the same as hating people of a certain skin color. It is a demand to treat history with honesty, not hagiography.

The truth is, Charlie Kirk never said, “I hate Black people,” or “Racism is good.” What he said is that the weaponization of race is tearing the country apart, that policies built on racial guilt and racial suspicion will corrode freedom, and that dividing Americans by skin tone keeps us weak. And the irony? The people who call him racist are often the same ones who want every job, every program, every law, every opportunity filtered first through the lens of race.

If racism is the belief that skin color should determine value, then the loudest voices calling Charlie Kirk racist are the ones most addicted to practicing racism themselves.
