This photograph made cricket fans think Josh Hazlewood had only 4 fingers. 😭

During the 2017 Sydney Test against Pakistan, Hazlewood appealed for the wicket of Azhar Ali. When Cricket Australia posted the photograph, fans immediately noticed something bizarre, his right hand appeared to have only four fingers.

People wondered if it was Photoshop or whether Hazlewood had somehow been playing with an undisclosed injury. Even the photographer, Matt King, admitted he initially couldn't figure out where the missing finger had gone.

Then he checked the sequence of photographs.

Hazlewood had simply rotated his hand at exactly the right moment, hiding his ring finger behind his little finger. Nothing had happened to his hand. It was just one ridiculously timed photograph. 😭
