Notice Regarding the 2nd Round of KDA Voting

이번 KDA 2차 투표에서 기존 팬베이스들은 모금액을 사용하지 않습니다. KDA 2차 투표는 여유가 되는 분들에 한해 자율적으로 참여해 주시고, 대신 컴백 후에는 모두가 스밍과 투표에 적극적으로 참여해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.

For the 2nd round of KDA voting, the existing fanbases will not be using any funds. We ask that only those who are able to do so participate voluntarily in the 2nd round of KDA voting. Instead, once IU makes her comeback, we ask that every uaena actively participate in both streaming and voting.

KDA 핫스타상은 100% 팬투표로 결정됩니다. 투표 화력이 강한 팬덤들과 경쟁해야 하는 만큼, 수상을 위해서는 상당한 재원을 투입해야 합니다. 반면 컴백 후 음악방송 투표는 음원 점수 등에서 충���히 유리해 조금만 노력하면 1위가 가���한데도, 투표 참여가 너무 부족해 근소한 차이로 1위를 놓치는 일이 반복되어 왔습니다.

The KDA Hot Star Award is determined 100% by fan voting. Since we have to compete against fandoms with strong voting power, winning the award would require a significant amount of resources. On the other hand, after a comeback, we are often already in a strong position on music shows thanks to factors such as digital points, and we could win 1st place with just a little more effort in voting. However, low voting participation has repeatedly caused us to miss out on 1st place by very narrow margins.

아이유의 컴백은 아이유의 단독 작업물이 나오는 만큼, 팬덤이 전력을 다해 서포트해야 한다는 점에는 이견이 없을 것이라 믿습니다. 반면 KDA는 여자 최우수연기상 후보에서 아이유를 제외했습니다. 주요 본상 수상 가능성과 아티스트 참석 가능성이 모두 낮은 상황에서, 많은 비용이 드는 KDA 투표에 화력을 분산시키는 것은 적절치 않다고 판단해 위와 같이 결정했습니다. 감사합니다.

IU’s comeback means the release of her own work, and I believe no one will deny that the fandom should give its full support to it. Meanwhile, KDA excluded IU from the nominees for Best Actress. Given that both her chances of winning a major award and the likelihood of her attending the ceremony are low, we concluded that it would not be appropriate to divide our resources by spending a significant amount on KDA voting. This is why we have made the decision outlined above. Thank you.

한애나분들께서 ‘팬베이스’의 개념을 다소 생소하게 느끼시는 것 같아 추가로 안내드립니다.

팬베이스 연합에 속한 팀들은 대부분 여러분이 이�� 알고 있는 팀들입니다. ‘21세기 대군부인’ 촬영 기간에 아이유의 인스타그램 스토리에 여러 차례 소개됐던 서포트팀 대부분이 연합에 참여하고 있습니다.

참고로 아이유 갤러리와 지으니어스는 서포트 활동만 담당하고 투표 모금에는 참여하지 않기 때문에 연합 구성원에서 제외됐습니다.

팬베이스 연합이 모금액을 사용하지 않는다는 것은 중애나와 해애나의 투표 화력 대부분이 빠진다는 의미로 이해하시면 됩니다. 해애나들은 이미 5년 전부터 팬베이스를 중심으로 투표 화력을 결집하는 방식을 ���택해 왔습니다.

오늘 KDA 주요 본상 후보가 공개됐습니다. 그런데 아이유가 최우수연기상 후보에서 제외됐습니다. 큰 상은 주기 싫지만 인기상 투표로 돈은 벌고 싶다는 뜻으로밖에 보이지 않습니다. 컴백을 앞둔 시기에 이런 시상식에까지 전력을 쏟을 필요는 없다고 봅니다.

KDA 2차 투표에 참여하고 싶은 유애나분들은 각자의 판단에 따라 자유롭게 참여하시면 됩니다. 다만 원하는 결과를 얻지 못하더라도 투표에 참여하지 않은 유애나나 해외 팬들을 탓하시면 안 됩니다.

저는 이번 투표 참여가 필수적이지 않다고 판단한 이유를 명확한 근거와 함께 설명드렸습니다. 반면 현재 투표를 계속 진행하겠다는 팀에서는 이러한 우려에 대해 별도의 설명을 내놓지 않은 상태입니다. 어느 쪽의 판단을 신뢰할지는 유애나분들 각자의 선택에 맡기겠습니다.

+ 참고로 저��� 이러한 내용을 유애나분들께 설명하는 역할을 담당하고 있습니다. (팔로워가 많아서요) 제가 혼자 뭔가를 결정할 수 있는 구조는 아닙니다.

Carol Choi, Executive Vice President of Integrated Marketing & APAC Original Strategy at The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific, mentioned ”Perfect Crown.”

Choi attributed the success of “Perfect Crown” to its ability to accurately tap into what audiences had been craving.

“Romance has not traditionally been a major focus of Disney+ content, and most of our series tended to be somewhat heavy in tone,” she said. “But this series struck a strong balance between a contemporary sensibility and the tension surrounding royal succession. The cast was incredibly popular, and the production quality was excellent.” She added, “It went beyond Korea and resonated across Asia, and even reached Latin America and Europe. I’m glad my prediction turned out to be right.”

아이유 정규 6집 발매가 연기됨에 따라 팬덤의 장기적�� 서포트 전략에도 변화가 생겼습니다. 만약 예정대로 9월에 발매되었다면 연말 시상식이나 연간 차트에서 불리했을 가능성이 높습니다. 뚜렷한 목표를 먼저 설정하고 그에 맞춰 계획을 수립하는 저희 입장에서는 다소 복잡한 상황이었는데, 발매 연기로 관련 우려가 해소되면서 그에 따라 계획도 수정되었습니다.

우리 팬덤은 내년에 앨범 초동, 음방, 투어, 연말 음악 시상식까지 전력을 다해 아이유를 서포트할 계획입니다. 그리고 이미 관련 준비를 시작했습니다. 하지만 내년을 준비하는 동시에 올해 남아 있는 모든 시상식 투표에도 같은 수준으로 참여하는 것은 현실적으로 조금 어려울 것 같습니다.

그래서 올해 남은 시상식 투표는 아이유가 참석하는 등 명확한 사유가 있을 때만 모금액을 사용하고, 그 외에는 유애나분들께서 가지고 계신 무료 투표권만 활용���는 방식으로 진행할 예정입니다.

또한 내년에는 1년 내내 스밍��� 유지, 앨범 구매, 향후 진행될 각종 모금 등으로 지출이 많아질 가능성이 높으니, 덕질 여유 자금을 미리 확보해 두시기를 권장드립니다.

Following the delay of IU’s 6th studio album, we have made changes to our long-term support strategy. Had the album been released in September as originally planned, it would likely have been at a disadvantage in year-end music awards and annual charts. Since we first set clear goals and then develop plans accordingly, we were in a somewhat difficult position. However, with the album’s postponement, those concerns have been resolved, and our plans have been revised accordingly.

Next year, our fandom plans to provide IU with our strongest possible support across all areas, including first-week album sales, music show wins, the concert tour, and year-end music awards. We have already begun preparing for this. However, while preparing for next year, it may be realistically difficult for us to participate at the same level in every remaining award vote this year.

Therefore, for the remaining award votes this year, we will use collected funds only when there is a clear reason to do so, such as when IU is attending the event. In all other cases, we plan to participate using only the free voting tickets held by individual uaenas.

In addition, next year is likely to involve a lot of expenses throughout the year, including maintaining streaming passes, purchasing albums, and participating in future fundraising campaigns. Therefore, I personally recommend setting aside some extra funds for fan activities in advance.

For “Perfect Crown,” it is still under review by the regulatory authority, and the result is expected to be announced sometime this year. I still believe it will receive the treatment it deserves. Please wait just a little longer.
