A5: Modeling appropriate digital interactions. Create a blog shared among colleagues and explain how their teachers maintain a positive digital-image. Create a discussion board in schoology to practice appropriate digital interactions in contained setting. #digitalcitizenship

A4: invite a colleague to come in and interpret what a prospective employee's social media presence says about them as a person, have students review teacher made profiles. Are posts selfies, links to academic topics, collection of art? Facilitate discussion #digitalcitizenship

A3: Students have the opportunity to engage with others outside their classroom. They can present an idea, have it challenged and then discourse can result in a more refined idea. The challenge is students may start with inappropriate ideas and miss the point #digitalcitizenship

@GJSMSLibrary I agree. I didn't think of either of these because I haven't experienced that with my students but I know in research based classes, some of my colleagues do spend a lot of time on evaluating sources and properly crediting references.

A5: We have been doing restorative practices so I have circle time regularly and that replaced my former drill/opener. Q1 is always how are you feeling and sometimes why and then transition into student Qs or academic Qs and I like @GoNoodle for breaks #2pencilchat

@mr_abee_tweets There are so many great uses for legos in education. I had a PD workshop back in March and brainstormed all sorts of STEM projects with them but unfortunately my current students aren't ready for legos. Have you had that issue. Maybe I could use in small groups by invite only

A4: My go to Math tools are @HMHCo and @DiscoveryEd. I really like our GoMath digital text through Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and I supplement with activities and practice from the @DiscoveryEd Math Techbook regularly #2pencilchat
