More lightning from last night's storms in #Pittsburgh. The reason I'm posting this one by itself and not with the 3 others in the thread is because it really stands out with the fog on the river. The lightning 'reaching' towards the city with glowing fog on the water was surreal
What an incredible sunrise in #Pittsburgh today. I wasn't expecting much with all the rain, and really wasn't even planning on shooting this morning, but I am so glad that I did. Vibrant color filled the sky, and with a little fog around the city, created just a stunning scene.
Another view from this morning, this time in the Manchester neighborhood of #Pittsburgh looking down Sheffield Street as bright white blossoms formed a beautiful springtime tunnel. I've never been over here before, but I can guarantee I'll be making more trips there this year.
Spotted this view a couple weeks ago when I was running along the river, and finally made it there with my camera today. The 16th St. Bridge and its reflection look like a giant eye in front of #Pittsburgh, with a slight haze creating a glow around the city. Pretty cool view.
A little color on this dreary #Pittsburgh morning, and another view that features barges on the Ohio River. Unlike the last view that I shared, this morning had a beautiful sunrise, with colorful clouds backdropping the city. The light from the towboat was the perfect accent.
A beautiful morning on the North Shore of #Pittsburgh: a colorful sky backdrops the silhouetted Andy Warhol (7th St.) Bridge, while the lampposts on the bridge add a nice little accent to the already vibrant view. A simple, but striking scene.
It's one of those dreary mornings in #Pittsburgh, so I thought that I'd share another view from when the sky was on fire a couple weeks ago. The city lit up under a colorful sky like this is one of my favorite scenes to shoot, and the Christmas tree was just the icing on the cake

A tree on Mt. Washington lit by the early morning light frames #Pittsburgh just before the sun disappears behind the clouds on a summer morning. In a couple months the sun will rise over much further to the right, leaving us until next year to capture scenes like this again.
