Thank you @EyeLthtr for looking after my daughter today who had eye surgery. Friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Miss Jane was as wonderful today as she was 11 years ago when we saw her for surgery. So lucky to have this amazing service right on our doorstep 🙌
Sat in @RosemereCF waiting on my mum having her first round of radiotherapy, when the bell was rung followed by a round of applause 👏🏻 Feeling a little emotional for the journey we’ve been on and what’s left to come but also thankful that there’s light at the end of the tunnel 💝
Huge thanks to @TilburyNorth in Wigan for spreading Christmas cheer on the Children’s Ward at @LancsHospitals! 🎁✨
Jack & Conor delivered bags of books, toys, and selection boxes from their amazing team, making this festive season extra special! 🎅

@LancsHospPaeds has had some very special visitors today!
A really special moment to be able to make our children smile and bring festive celebrations to them. Thank you to all involved, especially @LancHospCharity for your support of our children’s areas. 🎅 🧝♀️
I had a conversation today about the difference between "kindness" & "niceness" in leadership so I decided to post about it. The article & graphic explain why, as leaders, we should choose kindness over niceness. Kindness is about caring enough to push people toward greatness, even when it’s uncomfortable. It’s a harder path but better in the long run:

All of my career choices have been dedicated to the service of others and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Very lucky to have worked with people both past and present who inspire me to do better for the benefit of others.

Thank you to our maternity and neonatal colleagues who go above and beyond to support parents and care for their babies. I’m inspired every day by the care and compassion you show and the extra mile you consistently go to keep parents involved 💜
