@akhilpachori Many even made payments - debited to bank but not in portal - it says either make payment (again) or submit return w/o payment. Try to refresh, it is already 12, portal blocked. It is sadistic mindset to wait till 12 am to announce extention, that too for one day.

What a sadist mindset @IncomeTaxIndia @nsitharaman announcing extention at strike of 12 and block portal - Scores of people slog late night to get stuck with incomplete payments and returns. Why not give an early notice so we'd be careful while making payment? Sick.

They should not be taken for granted and be at the mercy of non non-functional income tax portal

Income tax site is damn slow. It hangs infinitely or throws up errors. Trying since 3 days. It is already 1020PM on the last day, no progress. Helpdesk not reachable. Every year this has been a frustration. Please do something-
