@GBNEWS At what point are they going to realize the tax structure is the reason there is no real economic growth.
You can not Tax your way to prosperity.
They're lying. They were in power for fourteen years. In every election campaign they promised to cut immigration. They increased it every time. They tried to destroy our country. They should never be given another chance.
In terms of buying power, a £25,000 salary in 1990 is the equivalent of earning around £75,000 today.
A £25,000 salary in 2026? That's closer to having £8,500 back in 1990.
But we're the ones who have it easy right?
This should definitively prove that throwing money at things does fuck all except make NGOs filthy rich.
If it only took $6 billion to “solve” world hunger why does $26 billion change nothing?
“Charity” is the second biggest scam in the world, just behind the government.
As for how pensions operate, Restore Britain will again pursue fairness by bringing our overly generous public sector schemes in line with those available in the private sector.
It will save the British taxpayer billions and billions.
We will restore fairness.
A Restore Britain Government will end the triple lock and instead link the state pension to CPI - the income of pensioners will be secure in terms of purchasing power.
This will be done alongside vast cuts to the British state - enormous reductions in welfare spending, abolishing the entire asylum system, deporting millions of unproductive foreign nationals, brutally slashing down the size of Government.
I could go on...
Cuts, cuts and then more cuts - in both tax and spending.
We must make bring our debt down.
We must now live within our means.
We must control inflation.
When I launched Restore Britain, I said difficult decisions would have to be made.
I meant it.
These actions are the only way we can leave a better country to our grandchildren than the one that was handed to us.
The Greater Manchester result showed what Restore Britain can deliver.
The next step is how we maximise the chances of delivering the change Britain needs - it means putting personal differences aside.
That is why today I am making a public offer to Nigel Farage and Reform UK.
He's out for a run, he's DJing at a music venue, he's making TikTok videos, he's at the pub eating crisps. Say what you like about Burnham, but he's very good at doing fuck all work.
