Kipchumba Murkomen has just made a fascinating argument.
He was a serious critic of fuel prices under the previous government. He said so himself. Proudly. Which means he understood then that fuel prices directly affect ordinary Kenyans and that leadership should be held accountable for them.
That was then.
Now he is the government. The fuel prices are higher than anything the previous administration managed. And his response to the people doing exactly what he used to do: criticise, is to ask why they are protesting against Ruto but did not protest against Uhuru.
Murkomen was literally in the Senate criticising Uhuru's government on fuel prices.
He answered his own question and did not notice.
But here is the deeper problem. This government loves pointing at the Uhuru era like a student who failed their exam pointing at a classmate who also failed. It does not change your grade. Uhuru's failures do not justify yours. The matatu operator who cannot afford fuel does not care which administration is responsible. He cares that he cannot work.
And the most revealing part of all this is that many of the people now in government including those pointing fingers at the previous regime were part of that previous regime.
They were there and should stop this diversionary tactics.
Dismas wa Tabu. Dreaming in installments. Billed in full.

Your thoughts on this ...
People use this line "Chosen by God" the same way they use "Recommended by doctors worldwide"...to sell product. Until someone shows me what polling station God voted at, keep that shit to yourself bro😂😂😂😂😂
Time for a reality check…
Can the man who stood by as a nation bled suddenly become its savior? And how long do we allow those who gave shoot-to-kill orders to remain in power without consequence?
If Gachagua is the hope, and Murkomen still holds office, then maybe the real problem isn’t just the politicians, it’s our memory✌️

We have been in communication with the Standard media group (@KTNNewsKE@ktnhome_@StandardKenya) and they have confirmed that their TV and Radio airing has been forcefully and unlawfully shut down by @CA_Kenya. We condemn this unilateralism and impunity by CA and urge all Kenyans to tune in through the Social media and Youtube live streams. We will be taking necessary legal intervention.
