@Reece6189964180 @CBSSportsGolazo @Nicocantor1 @JimmyConrad @GeoffShreeves Rewriting history to suit Messi narrative is not going to change facts,Argentina were aided by several soft penalties and wer save by Dibu Martinez in multiple knock out games.The Argentina team worked hard for Messi in 22 and 26 and together with refreeing help it worked

[Kspsasas @kspsasas]

@Reece6189964180 @CBSSportsGolazo @Nicocantor1 @JimmyConrad @GeoffShreeves Bottom line France 2022 was not a generational team,it was a team similar to Argentina or worse carried on by Mbappe and Griezman.Griezman didn’t play the final well,DiMaria single handedly inbalanced them and was the best player,match turned after he was subbed

[Kspsasas @kspsasas]

@Reece6189964180 @CBSSportsGolazo @Nicocantor1 @JimmyConrad @GeoffShreeves 😂😂 de paul was in https://t.co/6Ds9IX4Vp1 in 2022,enzo won the best young player,Arg forwards:Messi,Alvarez,Dimaria(Juventus at the time),Dybala,Martinez(InterMilan),Correa:Ath Madrid.Defefenders:Molina:Ath Madrid,Romero,Lis Martinez(Manu,Acuna(Seville).Man for man better

[Kspsasas @kspsasas]

@Reece6189964180 @CBSSportsGolazo @Nicocantor1 @JimmyConrad @GeoffShreeves Who amwere the super generational players in 2022 squad?Argentina 2022 team was far stronger,better midfield,beteee goal keeper,better defender, better attack with Messi,Di Maria and Alvarez. Even then they were saved by a last minute super save and went to penalties

[Kspsasas @kspsasas]

@CBSSportsGolazo @Nicocantor1 @JimmyConrad @GeoffShreeves Mbappe has a better world cup career than Messi he still has a couple of workd cups left he will eclipse him in assists and goals and then people will say oh Messi had more aesthetics.Using stas and longevity as arguments is absolute bullshit,football has changed

[Kspsasas @kspsasas]

@CBSSportsGolazo @Nicocantor1 @JimmyConrad @GeoffShreeves Recency bias, tommorow someone else with better stats will come,Maradona was an artist and will remain so.Look at his clips and he feels modern even after 40 years,any other player from the past looks dated not Maradona.Yamal will soon eclipse Messi in Barcelona.

Diego A. Maradona 1984/85

[FootballingGods • Football • Fútbol • Soccer @footballinggod5]

Diego Maradona Was More Than a Footballer… He Was a Phenomenon! 🐐🔥🇦🇷

Watching Maradona in his later years, you could still catch glimpses of that unmistakable personality, passion and love for the game. But to truly understand what made him so extraordinary, you have to go back and witness him at his best.

Blessed with an almost supernatural connection to the football, Maradona combined breathtaking close control, extraordinary balance, explosive changes of direction and a left foot capable of producing absolute magic.

He could glide through entire defences, absorb challenges that would stop most players in their tracks and create something spectacular from seemingly impossible situations.

At Napoli, he became something far greater than a club legend, inspiring a city that had long lived in the shadow of Italy’s northern footballing powers to two historic Serie A titles and European glory. To the people of Naples, Diego was a symbol of pride, identity and hope.

For Argentina, he delivered one of the greatest individual World Cup campaigns ever witnessed in 1986, carrying his nation to glory and becoming a national icon whose influence stretched far beyond football.

His life was complicated, his career unforgettable, and his talent almost impossible to replicate. For millions of people, Diego Armando Maradona wasn’t simply one of the greatest players who ever lived. He was football itself 💙✨

[Kspsasas @kspsasas]

@tomastrape Its more like when Maradona played he didn’t have workd class players around him, Messi in prime had Di Maria,Maschareno,Aguero/Higuan along with many others, 2026 without Messi would have reached the final as well considering the opponents,with England managed by Tuchel

[Kspsasas @kspsasas]

@camilawler Footballing terms miles better !!!Messi is highly effective subset of Maradona.Maradona was an artist , Messi is machine , Messi is repetetion Maradona was unpredictable

[Kspsasas @kspsasas]

@AlbicelesteTalk Against Benin 😂😂😂

[Kspsasas @kspsasas]

[Kspsasas @kspsasas]
