The truth in this! It's not just our profession, though.

Suddenly super-grateful I have NOT ended up being a go-to person in my current job. All three of us w/my title are expected to be able to do the things, though we help each other out with tips/info/support when needed.

@laurenancona The over an hour I spend gardening every day instead of commuting is tons healthier for my physical and mental health.

And working on laptop outside in the evenings allows me to see and nod to rural neighbors walking by. Maintaining low-effort presence/connection in my community

PSA: Sorrowland by Rivers Solomon (@cyborgyndroid) is the best book I have read in a long time.

Ok I have never wrangled with BorrowDirect, but I have tangled with lots of systems---library specific and not---and I'm scratching my head over how/why this happened. Anybody know?
