@heliflyer2000@DataAnalystBoe@GlobalBC Pretty sure my combination of schooling (which happens to include multiple degrees, including a masters in epidemiology) + clinical experience is more than enough research. But go off 🤷🏼♀️
@paintwithalex@DataAnalystBoe@Stevelattimer3 No. Im just smart enough to know the difference. It’s not “semantics” if a “vaccine injury” isn’t a thing. It’s not my fault you can’t grasp that concept.
@paintwithalex@DataAnalystBoe@Stevelattimer3@GlobalBC Wow, you can use google. Still doesn’t convince me you have any idea what it means. Especially considering you can’t seem to grasp that correlation and causation are not the same thing. Also tachycardia is a known potential side effect. Side effect also doesn’t equal “injury”
@DataAnalystBoe@paintwithalex@Stevelattimer3@GlobalBC No. This family deserves actual answers…not conspiracy theories, and you are using this tragedy to try and make something out of nothing. You have no medical training, and have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about, hence why you feel “patronized”. That’s a you problem.
@DataAnalystBoe@paintwithalex@Stevelattimer3@GlobalBC No. Whether or not he was recently vaccinated is not a good answer for why he had a brain bleed. Stop using this tragedy as an excuse to spread misinformation. Vaccinated or not, this is way off base. Just because you can google something doesn’t make it correct or true.
@DataAnalystBoe@paintwithalex@Stevelattimer3@GlobalBC What happened to this kid was awful, and absolutely a problem. But you are taking away from the issue by blaming it on the vaccine. Stop using this families tragedy to fuel some stupid agenda. Don’t want healthcare? No problem. Don’t come to the hospital then
@DataAnalystBoe@GlobalBC First of all, you know nothing about how I was educated, or what education I even have. Second, I look at FACTS and evidence not conspiracy theories to treat my patients. Thankfully, I actually know how to read and interpret research.
@paintwithalex@Stevelattimer3@DataAnalystBoe@GlobalBC No.I never said that vaccines can’t have side effects or complications, just that “vaccine injury” isn’t a diagnosis. I assess all my patients thoroughly, and treat them based on the information I have, not some conspiracy theory voiced by those who know nothing about healthcare
@DataAnalystBoe@GlobalBC No. I would assess them, order tests and come to an actual conclusion with the remainder of the healthcare team. Pericarditis is a rare side effect of the vaccine (however you are much more likely to get it from any infection itself). Again. “Vaccine injury” ISNT a diagnosis.
@mathphysicsprof@DataAnalystBoe@GlobalBC Correlation does NOT equal causation. All that study reported was that there was 3 people who experienced ruptured aneurysms “shortly after” receiving the vaccine. Aneurysms are ticking time bombs and can rupture at any time. That does not mean the vaccine caused them to.
@DataAnalystBoe@GlobalBC That does not change the fact that those are what the symptoms were. His symptoms were that of increased intracranial pressure, in his case from a brain bleed. My mind isn’t “closed off”. I’m just educated enough to know “vaccine injury” isn’t a thing.
@DataAnalystBoe@GlobalBC No. Those symptoms are those of a ruptured aneurysm/brain bleed. Which is what he had. This had nothing to do with vaccines. “Vaccine injury” is not a thing. There are possible side effects and complications, but vaccine injury isn’t a diagnosis
@JenniferKingsb6 @Alex90436150 @jarmstrongbc@BC_EHS@GlobalBC@adriandix They don’t need to be admitted. They just need to be give report to a nurse and they can leave. I’ve never seen a paramedic wait 8-10 hours with a pt in the ER. Ambulances are tied up because there isn’t enough paramedics or ambulances to properly service the population
@HarvGrewal@CityNewsVAN Maybe they do, maybe they don’t. But it’s very easy to judge from the outside. Yea a lot of their decisions have been questionable, and the lack of transparency is ridiculous, but it’s not necessarily as easy as you think to come up with a better solution
@HarvGrewal@CityNewsVAN The scope of practice of a nurse in Europe is different than here, which accounts for a lot of that difference. Sure there are some classes we could eliminate, as a whole it’s not necessarily better to explidite the process
@HarvGrewal@CityNewsVAN I never said we didn’t need more hospitals. But it takes years to build one, and we can’t even staff the ones we have, so it is not currently a valid option. Do they need to do something else, yes, but hospitals have been stretched thin because of a lack of staff, not capacity
