"Mom I'm scared." That was the text from my daughter during her school's lockdown with active shooter at Olathe East High School in Kansas yesterday. My. Kid's. School. We see the headlines all the time. So thankful noone was killed. This time. But when will it be enough? 1/
STEWART to @JohnFetterman: “You’re caricaturing people’s views. I haven’t seen candidates say they’re ‘pro-Hamas’ — if your concern is winning, it’s playing into the hands of Republicans... and if your issue with Platner was treatment of women, you’re ignoring a lot with Trump.”
This story needs more national attention - this is voter suppression and we need to be ready for more election offices to "misprint" return addresses in the midterms.
In a news conference, NAACP KCK President Tarence Maddox stated they've heard from up to 12 people who have had their ballots returned to them, but expressed concern with the hundreds of ballots yet to be returned.

“It’s time for us to take our state back — now you might say: ‘haven’t y’all been in power for like the last 30 years?’ And to that i say… SHUT UP.” 😂😂
Nails it 🎯
Sen. @ewarren: How many of the enforcement actions and investigations that you dropped were against companies that have donated to President Trump?
Vought: I have no idea.
Warren: I've got a list here. Apple, Bank of America, Capital One, JPMorgan, Toyota, Walmart, Meta. More than 50 companies that we can document
NEW: I just uncovered more evidence that Donald Trump is spending hundreds of thousands of your tax dollars to print giant banners of his face and put them on government buildings.
Not only a terrible waste of the hard-earned dollars of the American people, but also an illegal use of public funds.
@KellyScaletta Not to mention no ID other than a passport has your citizenship status so the voter ID law would require everyone to have a passport or get a new ID that matches the name on their birth certificate which nearly half the population doesn't have... textbook voter suppression.
Then Jesus said unto the sick, “you better have insurance.”
Then Jesus said unto the stranger, “are you here legally?”
Then Jesus said unto the hungry, “my taxes better not be paying for these loaves and fishes.”
Then Jesus said unto the poor, “this is your own fault.”
‘My daughter did not die of a medical emergency alone. She died inside of a system that had already decided her body wasn’t her’s.’ Adriana Smith, the Georgia woman who was declared brain-dead but kept alive for her fetus because of the state’s ab*rtion laws in 2025. Her mother, April Newkerk, spoke at an event commemorating the fourth anniversary of the Dobbs decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade and allowed for her daughter to be abused by the state’s ban.
The irony of Republicans controlling all branches of government while
bankrupting the country, starting a war, sending money to fraudulent programs, violating the Constitution, giving corporations immunity...
but arguing that the biggest problem we have is “stolen elections.”
Woman impacted by MAGA abortion bans:
You do not know the healthcare you need until you need it. You can be against abortion for yourself. You can never choose it. But you cannot restrict access to a category of medical care without consequences that reach every pregnant person in this country. Reproductive healthcare is a continuum, and the government should not be able to decide what parts of that care you can access. When politicians get to decide what healthcare is moral and immoral, every woman you have ever loved is put at risk.
