mph in epidemiology interested in antibiotic resistance, infectious disease, and how data works, with a helping of biodiversity and agriculture on the side.
@JonMarcusBoston Enjoyed your article. However, I felt it gave the impression that the shortage of doctors is because there aren't enough med school applicants. There are way more than enough - the shortage comes down the line, when there aren't enough residency training spots.
@MassDCR@CambMA Riverbend Park should be open EVERY DAY. As the weather gets nicer, PEOPLE WILL BE OUTSIDE NEAR THE RIVER. Give us MORE space, not less! We can spread out this way!
@ronlieber Thanks for your article on which banks are helping people and which aren't. As someone who banks with a mentioned company that ISN'T helping, I've written them an e-mail to let them know their decision on this impacts whether I'll remain a customer. And it will.
@LeckroneBennett The autosave feature is crap if you're trying to co-work on a document. We have a strict rule at my place of work (consulting) to keep it turned off. It overwrites other people's changes, doesn't save changes, and has lost us hours of work before tight deadlines.
@seaembers Diva cups are also great for hiking/camping. A lot of people who haven't used them claim they're impossible to use when you're not near running water...absolutely false. They have gotten me through weeks in the backcountry. (And who wants to pack out the trash of pads/tampons??)
@seaembers@copperoranges I used to use THINX to supplement my Diva cups for spots/leaks, but THINX honestly starts to smell pretty quickly if you either sweat or have a heavy flow. Not what you want.
@seaembers@copperoranges I also use menstrual cup (Diva) and LOVE it. Disclaimer: it can take a few months to learn to use it properly. Had leaks until I figured out the tricks. I have debilitating cramps and you don't notice the cup at all, nor is it painful to put in with cramps.
The @guardian is continuing their reporting on #publiclands in 2020. This is an incredibly important series - it's truly horrifying what's happening to our #nationalparks and forests, and how easily it's slipping under the radar. Sign up to read here: https://t.co/OdKTpaW8rB
@constancegrady Another ungenerous, and unsatisfying, part of the movie was that Jo didn't know herself well enough to realize she loved Professor Bhaer. Her family simply told her she did. That was awful to see.
@constancegrady Alcott didn't have fairy-tale marriages. She had REAL marriages: not because of the economics, but because they showed partners who struggled and worked together and grew together. That isn't unsatisfying. It's why we still love the book today.
@chrisachard I'm not a developer, but I'm all about this idea. I have local groups I'd like to start and happy to use this platform to do so to help build momentum. Meetup has brought great people into my life. I don't want to lose that - just their policies.
@Pure_Barre Despite two app rollouts, the user experience design has DRASTICALLY reduced since you were acquired. I really miss the MindBody App. The new app requires so much reading instead of using visual cues and taking advantage of the features an app can provide.
