Fraudulent credit card charges last week on my RBC credit card. We had the card cancelled & charges reversed. 10 minutes ago another fraudulent skip the dishes charge comes through 2-factor. I call RBC immediately. What followed was the craziest experience I think I’ve ever had

I’m told that my account is now flagged as restricted and until I go to the branch with 2 pieces of ID to identify myself, I can’t be helped and the call is be terminated. And then I’m hung up on a 2nd time.

I’ve literally got a card I thought was cancelled being used as we speak by someone who has access, after already having to have charges reversed. It’s in @RBC interest to get this handled. He will not tell me any info and hangs up. I call back.

@_shelse_ @FrederictonReal I’d assume plans changed and the alternative was to pull out of the deal and either lose their deposit or risked being sued, so they closed as planned & relisted immediately. I can’t speak to their pricing but presumably they’re hoping to make up any potential losses in fees

@Dyson has to be the most overrated and overpriced company I’ve experienced. Sold a defective vacuum cleaner and they troubleshooted & part replaced me until warranty ran out. (I even paid for the part) An $800 dust collector. Never again! Heard great things about @SharkHomeUS
