So important!
"Any organization can give the gift of creative inspiration and new thinking simply by allowing employees time away from the daily grind to get their creative juices flowing."

Hello Twitter, it's been awhile! If you're a longtime follower, I'm still the same me โ just shifting my focus a bit here to align with my professional interests as a new creative director. ๐
It just hit me: Being mostly detached from Twitter since I stopped blogging a couple years ago has made it extra hard to process the loss of #RHE. This is where we first met in 2010, where we grew in community, and where her words continued to give me hope and make me brave.
Just curiousโis there anyone out there who struggles with seasonal affective disorder AND hates daylight savings time? Because that hour of extra light by far offsets a week of rough mornings.
Itโs hard to not feel sort of special when you go to Portland for whatโs predicted to be a week of rain, and instead you get days and days of blue skies and sunshine. Itโs a birthday miracle!
Should I have a Stumptown cappuccino or Salt & Straw ice cream after my Marukin Ramen lunch (and before my Powellโs Books reverie)? Oh Portland, youโre far too tempting.
@lisalibrarian Right?! I decided to hold off on ice cream, mostly because I knew dinner was around the next corner. :) Salt & Straw will definitely happen while Iโm here!
My emotional response to this news is equal parts heartbreak and fury. This in no way represents the United Methodist Church I grew up in a full 30-40 years ago. Iโm stunned. https://t.co/0I7cNrOsh1
@MorningEdition Iโm trying to find yesterdayโs piece that included reactions from Alabamaโspecifically a pastor from the Bay Area who was there getting out the vote. Can you help? Thanks so much!
Beware of overseas companies that market to US customers but have all kinds of shipping & customer service failures. Sure, things can go wrong, but then you MAKE IT RIGHT! Never ordering from @PublicDesire again.
@PublicDesire@PublicDesireUS Hi, the shoes I ordered on Oct. 22 for an event on Nov. 6 didnโt arrive until Nov. 8. Now your customer service has told me I have to pay for the return. Is this truly your policy?!?
