It’s deeply alarming to hear that the suspect in the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting—a California teacher—was honored as “Teacher of the Month” in December 2024. He was entrusted with students every single day.

This is a sobering reminder that the battle for our nation is not just political, but spiritual. We are living in times where the heart can be hidden behind professional accolades, yet harbor darkness.
