#Runningdiaries Ran the Fitpage Brooks Time Trial Mumbai 10k to get a RFID timed bib numbered finish certificate. Necessary to enable registration in recognised full & half marathons. 6 am comfortably paced run. Only if one could maintain this pace in a 21k! A dream for now.
Not much traffic. Rainy to near near clear weather over the run. Couples & families taking selfies on the bridge don't give way to loony runners! Nearly peak pace; anything faster and ankles/knees will creak. Onto #Dibang bridge next when fortuitous circumstances arise. Someday !

Dream of 21 km half marathon in Tawang (3000m+ & ~12 km of continuous ascent) died a silent death. So, registered for the 10 km event of #TawangMarathon23 targeting < 1:10:00. Will use the 14 weeks half marathon training plan preparation somewhere someday! See ya all there .
No time to enjoy pretty sights of the ascent. Ability, altitude, gravity & mother time (old man running) sapped every bit of gait & energy (of two bananas eaten an hour before). The last km of the 5 km ascent gnawed all will. Barely survived. Oldest at ~50 years to take part.
