Devon and Cornwall police have fanned the flames of this racist nonsense by publishing Narrowcliff as the address of the perpetrator. Narrowcliff is a long road covering two postcodes. It does not mean the perpetrator was a resident at the Beresford Hotel.
We're devastated that bigot Mylo Gregory is using this rape as an excuse for another racist protest outside the Beresford Hotel. There's no evidence the perpetrator is a refugee or a resident at the hotel & a local refugee support group confirmed he wasn't a resident.
We are devastated to hear a woman has been raped in Newquay and we stand with her. We support her. We know her trauma. We do not undermine her experience. We believe her.
CORNWALL RESISTS RACISM - AGAIN.
COUNTER PROTEST: Sunday 26th March, 9:30am, Beresford Hotel, Newquay (please note the clocks are going forward on Sunday)
Cornwall Resists stands with survivors. Cornwall Resists is anti-racist. And we will resist this racist demonstration!

The fash have left! MASSIVE well done to everyone who came out today. Together we protected refugees in the hotel from the far right. They were totally humiliated and outnumbered
This is what solidarity looks like!
Onan hag oll, Cornwall is antifascist ✊✊✊
The fash crowd is thinning out but we still need people here until every one of them is gone. Here's what their protest looks like now, total shambles 😅
Getting ready for the demo tomorrow? Here's what to bring, what NOT to bring, and what to wear
Stay safe, look after yourself, and most important take care of each other. Solidarity is our strength against their hatred and division. See you on the streets! ✊
If you're coming to Newquay tomorrow - watch out for Police Liaison Officers. They pretend to be your friend but they're intelligence gatherers!
Talking to them doesn't just put your safety at risk, it puts the safety of all those around you at risk. Don't do it! NO COMMENT!
Groups from across Cornwall and beyond are uniting on Saturday at 11am outside the Beresford hotel to take a stand against fascism.
Refugees are welcome in Cornwall!
Cornwall is anti fascist!
Bring friends! Bring noise! Bring masks! Bring banners!

HMP Eastwood Park is a 'women’s prison' in South Gloucestershire, where several of the Bristol Kill the Bill protesters have been incarcerated

The people protesting against the refugee hotel in Newquay claim they’re not racist. Here’s why that claim utter bullshit!
See you on the streets on 25th Feb to take a stand against these racists.

Join us on the streets of Newquay on Saturday 25th February! Cornwall is antifascist! Cornwall will resist. Cornwall will stand in solidarity with refugees.
Kernow gorthfaskor bys vyken!
The organisers of the protest at the hotel housing refugees in Newquay say they’re not racist.
Here’s why it is racist and why so many groups in Cornwall will be out opposing it.
The trans community in Cornwall's heart breaks for another young trans life lost to transphobic violence, and demands that she recieves dignity and respect in death. A vigil will be held on the 17th February at 4pm in Falmouth, to remember her life and her presence in the world.
But we’re fighting back. Dissent is alive and kicking in Cornwall. From Kill the Bill to Acorn via Anitfa, XR, FACS, striking workers trans rights and much more - in the last few years we’ve put Cornwall on the map as a place of resistance.
Here in Cornwall we’ve got a lot to be aggravated about - not least countering the fascist hate fuelled protest being organised by the far-right on 25th February.
