So, i'm going to shout into the void a little here. I've seen so much on here this week about 'catching' AI use in students, tricking them with things like hidden text prompts, weird instructions etc.
Absolutely none of this is productive. It'll destroy the relationship...
- Tell them what they CAN use it for; Proofreading? Research? Planning? AI is a tool for all of these in the same way that google has been for years. Let your students use AI to put themselves in the strongest position to demonstrate their knowledge. Because, after all...
