When I landed in Chennai today, I felt this immense sense of happiness. I was going to meet our CM.
I’ve always felt that Vijay sir was never meant to be just a hero on screen. His energy, his presence, and the way people respond to him always felt like he was meant for something bigger.
What inspires me most is the courage it takes to step into a completely new arena. To leave behind what you have already mastered and take on a challenge where the stakes are so much higher. Not because it is easy, but because you believe you can make a difference.
I think all of us, at some point in our lives, are called to do more. To look beyond ourselves and ask how we can contribute. Very few people actually answer that call.
I have a feeling Vijay sir will surprise even the people who already believe in him. Not because of the position he holds, but because of the intent with which he approaches it.
Wishing him strength, wisdom and the courage to stay the course.
And for every young person watching, may this be a reminder that life can be so much bigger than the dream you started with.

The President of Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), Thiru C Vijay, has formally requested the Indian National Congress (INC) to extend its support for forming a government in Tamil Nadu. The people of Tamil Nadu, especially the youth, have delivered a very clear, strong and overwhelming verdict for a secular, progressive and welfarist government that believes in constitutional principles. They have chosen the Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) led by Mr. Vijay to form the next government.

The Indian National Congress stands for, and is the founding political party for, secular, progressive and welfarist politics in India. It is our constitutional duty to respect, uphold and help fulfil this mandate of the people of Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee and the Congress Legislative Party (CLP) has decided to extend its full support to the TVK to form the government.

Our support shall be conditional upon the TVK keeping out from this alliance any communal forces that do not believe in the Constitution of India.

This alliance between the TVK and the Tamil Nadu Congress will strive to bring back Perunthalaivar Kamaraj's glory days of Tamil Nadu, with a strong commitment to Thanthai Periyar's social justice ideals and Dr. BR Ambedkar's constitutional ideals in the years and decades to come.

This alliance - founded on mutual respect, appropriate share, and shared responsibility between the two parties is not only for the formation of this government, but also for future elections to the local body organisations, the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha.

Mr. Vijay and Shri Rahul Gandhi jointly pledge to respect this historic verdict of the people of Tamil Nadu for a secular and progressive government, and to fulfil the dreams and promises of the people especially the youth of Tamil Nadu.

என் நெஞ்சில் குடியிருக்கும் அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம்.

கட்சி ஆரம்பித்ததில் இருந்தே நம்மை ஏளனமாகப் பார்த்தவர்களு��் பேசியவர்களுமே அதிகம். அரசியலில் இது இயல்பே என்றுதான் நாமும் அதைக் கடந்து வந்தோம். எவரையும் சாராமல், மக்களை மட்டுமே நம்பி, தேர்தல் களத்திலும் தில்லாக நின்றோம்.

நடுநிலை என்ற பெயரிலும் விமர்சனம் என்ற பெயரிலும் முகமூடி அணிந்த அவமானங்களும் அவதூறுகளுமே நமக்குப் பரிசளிக்கப்பட்டன. ஆனால், நாம் யாருக்கு நன்றிக் கடன் செலுத்த அரசியலுக்கு வந்தோமோ அவர்கள்… நம் சொந்தங்களாகிய நம் தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்கள் நம்மை எப்போதும் தாயன்போடு தாங்கியே பிடித்து வந்தனர் - வருகின்றனர்.

அந்தத் தாயன்போடுதான் இந்தத் தேர்தலிலும் நமக்கு அளப்பரிய அன்புடன் அமோகமான வாக்குகளை அள்ளித் தந்துள்ளனர். இந்திய அரசியல் களத்தையே அதி�� வைத்திருக்கும் இந்தத் தேர்தல் ஓர் அதிசயத் தேர்தல் என்றோம். அது பல்வேறு வகைகளிலும் நிரூபணமானது.

ஏராளமான காரணிகள் இருந்தாலும், குடும்பத்தையே தங்கள் அடரன்பால் வழிநடத்திய குழந்தைச் செல்வங்கள்தான் அதிசயத் தேர்தலுக்கான ஆழமான காரணிகளில் ஒன்றாக மாறி நிற்கின்றனர்.

ஒரு மாபெரும் மாற்றத்துக்கான இந்தத் தேர்தல் அரசியல் போரில் வென்றது நம் தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழகம் மட்டுமன்று. தமிழக மக்க���ின் மனங்களில் ஆசை ஆசையாக வளர்த்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான ஜனநாயகமும்தான். அதனால்தான் தமிழகத்தில் ஓர் அரசியல் கலாசாரமாகவே மாறி அச்சுறுத்திக்கொண்டிருந்த பணநாயகம் ஆழக் குழிதோண்டிப் புதைக்கப்பட்டது.

தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழகம், மாற்றத்திற்கான மாபெரும் முதன்மைச் சக்தியான அரசியல் இயக்கம் என்பது, இதன் மூலம் ஆழமாகவும் அழுத்தமாகவும் நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. நியாயமான, நேர்மையான பார்வை கொண்ட அனைவரும் இதை அப்படியே ���ற்பர் என்பதே அடர் உண்மை.

எக்காலத்திலும் நிகழவே நிகழாது என்றிருந்த மாற்றத்திற்கான அரசியல் வெற்றியை நிகழ்த்திக் காட்டிய தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களாகிய என் சொந்தங்களுக்கு என் வாழ்நாள் நன்றியைக் காணிக்கை ஆக்குகிறேன்.

நம் சொந்தங்களுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தும் அதே வேளையில், நம் கழகத் தோழர்கள், அனைத்து நிலை நிர்வாகிகள், Virtual Warriors என உங்கள் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் தனித்தனியாக என் நெஞ்சார்ந்த நன்றியறிதலைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன்.
