“Emerson Puckett worked hard over the last two days to bring home 6th place in the state championship out of 90 golfers. Day 1 she shot an 86 to place her in 7th spot and on Day 2 she scored an 81 to secure 6th spot over-all, just 10 stokes behind 1st place.”Coach J. Sutphin

North Surry competed in an 18 hole conference match today at Silo Run. They finished in 2nd place. Emerson Puckett was the Medalist with a 75. Next up, conference Tournament on Monday afternoon.

Congratulations to the Women’s Golf Team! They placed 2nd today with a score of 148. Three Greyhound golfers scored in the top 10. The match was held at Oakwoods in North Wilkesboro.

NSHS Golf finished the season as 8th in the State! They played under horrible conditions today! Coach Sutphin said, “I am very proud of these young men and the fight they had in the State Championship. I look forward to the future for the mens golf team.” Way to go Hounds!

What a great day for the North Surry Men's Golf team as they came in 2nd place today in the Mid West Regional Tournament. The team also qualified for the State Tournament next Monday and Tuesday in Monroe NC at Stonebridge CC. WAY TO GO GREYHOUNDS!
