@RoyalsFarm MJ in the outfield full time. Fermin should be the backup and start on the days that Sal is DH or out of the lineup. MJ is a nice insurance policy as a 3rd catcher on those days.
@RexChapman They'll answer with silence or "We'll have to wait to get all the facts" hoping the story dies before they really have to comment, even though they jumped all over the FBI before they had all the facts. That's hypocrisy in action.
@RoyalsFarm I was wondering about his defense in general? Melendez could spell Perez catching for the next couple years, but being that MJ is so athletic I'm not opposed if he went to the OF permanently, especially if there's a good alternative in the minors.
@jazayerli What they've done with the hitting approach in the last 2 years has been amazing. Now do that with the pitching. They need to realize what they are doing isn't working and come up with a whole new organizational philosophy. Look to Tampa Bay as an example.
@Hardees You seriously have one of the best chicken sandwiches out there, but the consistency of the size is awful. One time it fills up the bun, other times it looks like a chicken tender swimming in a sea of bread.
@Koreanfan_KC I've never been a huge fan of taking a 2b. A SS can always move to 3rd or 2nd. Jung's bat might be great, but he's got to play a position and it sounds like he's not very good at 2nd.
@royalsclubhouse Even when he pitches decent it always seems to be a struggle. How often does he have a quick inning of around 10 pitches? Rarely. Even the 1-2-3 innings seem to be 16+ pitches. Add in the inevitable 30+ pitch inning he always seems to have and he's done by the 5th.
@royalsclubhouse This whole organization needs a rehaul of the pitching philosophy they teach. If pitching is the currency of baseball as Dayton has said we are living in the gutter behind the poor house.
