Let’s #PrayTogether for sufferers of Alzheimer’s, a disease that affects many people, who are often pushed to the margins of society as a result; for their families; and for those who lovingly care for them, that they may be increasingly helped.
To love like Jesus means to serve & give our life. To serve means to put others’ interests first, to fight the cancer of indifference, to share the gifts God has given us. To give our life means to leave egoism behind, to make our lives a gift, spending ourselves for all in need.
Jesus summarized his commandments in a single one: “Love one another as I have loved you” (Jn. 15:12). To love like Christ loves means to put yourself at the service of your brothers and sisters, especially those in greatest need, as we are and with what we have.
We need profound change, a conversion, that demilitarizes hearts, that would allow everyone to recognize the other as a brother or sister. #Peace#FratelliTutti
"Honour your father and mother" is a solemn commitment. It is not just about our own father and mother, but about the old age of life… We received the love of our parents, of our grandparents, and now we return this love to them. #BlessingOfTime
Let us ask ourselves what type of words we use. Words that express care, respect, understanding, closeness, compassion, or do we pollute the world by spreading venom: criticizing, complaining, feeding widespread aggression? #GospeloftheDay (Lk 6,39-46)
I renew my invitation for everyone to take part on 2 March, Ash Wednesday, in a Day of Prayer and Fasting for Peace in #Ukraine, in order to be near to the suffering Ukrainian people, to be aware that we are all brothers and sisters, and to implore God for an end to the war.
Greatness isn’t achieved by worrying what everyone thinks of you. Don’t look outside. The praise, criticism, expectations; it’s all just noise. Look inside to your heart and soul and do your thing. Do it with love and create greatness from the inside out.
#ChristianUnity is not attained so much by agreement about some shared value, but by doing something concrete together for those who bring us closest to the Lord: the poor, for in them Jesus is present (Mt 25:40). Sharing in works of charity helps us make greater progress.
Let us ask the Lord for the strength to turn off the television and open the Bible, to turn off our cell phone and open the Gospel. It will make us feel God’s closeness to us and fill us with courage as we make our way through life. #WordOfGod
Educators don’t teach to hate. Rather, they share materials, etc. to encourage students to develop their own ideologies. This is insulting, and I’m sad for IN’s educators. Legislators seek control to align public with selfish initiatives. Let’s “inspect” homes, not classrooms.
Ron Desantis tonight says that liberal educators are “teaching kids to hate this country,” so he is pushing for a new law so parents can “inspect curriculum,” and sue schools if they catch teachers who “smuggle in” any “inappropriate content.”

We are brothers and sisters, loved by a single Father. We need to work together to build a future worthy of humanity, to overcome divisions and work for unity. We need to welcome and integrate one another, and to walk together as brothers and sisters, all of us! #ApostolicJourney
This day before Thanksgiving is a great day to think about what we GET TO do instead of what we HAVE TO do. Life is a gift, not an obligation. Choose to see it that way today (and every day).
