30% of my timeline is ads. This place is becoming a marketplace with no real conversation.
People still staying here because they need exposure and they need to pay for "verified".
Gold or blue badges = ads.
This place is so stupid.
@ScottRhodie I actually had it a last year and the exercise from this video helped (I think) https://t.co/qbvyBnY7i6. I will do the same again. Basically the muscles getting stretched too much.
I talked to a colleague yesterday, she had the same issue and she did the exercise helped as well.
@ScottRhodie Same. I have shoulder issues for using my index finger too much, mostly from playing Minecraft 🫠
Take it easy, hope you feel better soon 🙌
@pwae Yeah the good old days when Twitter was not main stream. I am glad that that Tweetups happened, literally changed my life and met lots of cool kind people!
My hope for Twitter went from “Maybe the new Twitter will be good?” to “WTF is happening”.
My take is: If twitter turns out to be okay, great I will hang around; if not, no big deal. Social network is a double edge sword anyway.
I have learnt that being connected to people all the time is not necessarily a good thing, especially when people voice their opinions without empathy — just because someone think they are right, doesn’t give them the right to offend other people.
I took a brief break from (most) social network early this year because it was taking a toll on my mental health. Since then I have quit some (social network) and muted some (people).
