For this week’s roundtable we heard from our visiting @USLTER working group graduate students @KTnigrow and @TreeDrought who spoke on how tree species are responding to climate change. “They’re not so much going upslope. - rather, they’re dying at lower elevations.”

Excellent and important paper! So much more field crew leadership training is needed for graduate students. Great if you can normalize these practices within your lab group, but even better if they were institutionalized in graduate programs & departments.
