@KateBHdj@LauraMcCabster We surely did, that very day. With out doubt the most comfortable suit of furniture in the world. It’s also stunning to look at! @OxfamIreland
Massive MASSIVE thanks to the @ESBNetworks team who restored our power after an afternoon battling elements and a fallen tree! Such an epic and efficient service from proper legends 😘
A very sad day. Several individuals and groups (all volunteers) did their best over at least four years to save this building, but despite their best efforts including drawing on expert opinion, the powers that be untimely refused to prevent its destruction. A punch in the gut.
A small sample of beautiful, handmade eighteenth-century bricks and splinters of pitch pine are all that remain of Curragower House. We need to protect #Limerick's fragile built heritage, so much has already been lost and many more buildings are facing a similar fate.
Sending a MASSIVE HUG THANK YOU to @DublinCoach1!!! Our tiny tot is obcessed with the green fleet and the lads have made a Christmas wish come true sending out tiny tot her very own green bus!!! What utter legends! #MerryChristmasEveryone#happynews
@MacL0ve@SimonHarrisTD Everyone can do their part to help stop the spread. Dispite the insanity of what’s going on economy vrs health. It’s not an easy time for anyone, but we individually we all need to do our best.
Let’s talk frankly & bluntly -we are in a bad place. #Covid19 is well & truly ahead of us. People are getting very sick again. Patients in hospitals is up. Number of patients in ICU is up. This is not a drill. We are in the midst of a 2nd wave. The path it takes depends on YOU
Let’s not get distracted. We know what to do. Reduce our contacts. Whatever we’re doing -each of us individually - is not enough. So tonight talk to family or housemates about what specifically you can do to reduce contacts, keep distance, wear face coverings, clean surfaces etc
NPHET forecast over 1,000 COVID cases a day by 25 October. According to RTÉ Intensive Care Units may be at capacity by 20 October. This is why NPHEP recommended Level 5 nationwide.
You can’t stop the tide, but we can flatten the curve. Whatever the outcome today there will be people suffering mentally & emotionally on both sides. So be kind to each other and remember we are in this together.
3/3 it’s so disappointing, as a nation we vowed to stand together last March and save our loved ones and strangers on the street. Over the last few months and weeks, that comradery & hope has been forgotten.
The words I have seen written since yesterday have left me sickened
2/2 the last few hours have been laden with anxiety and sadness for many.
Can we just stop and think about what we are about to post. Is it helpful? Is it kind. We can be open an honest with out being caustic.
1/2 The saddest thing of all today is how people of Ireland are ripping each other apart across the socials and in person over last nights leaked news.. instead of using their platforms & voice for sharing positive or constructive advice.
