NEW: The Pentagon has ID’d the third soldier presumed to be killed in the Jordan attack.

🚨NEW: The number of wounded personnel in the Iran war has grown to well over 500 troops, a U.S. official told me.
The total is higher than the Pentagon's official tally on DCAS, which currently shows 482 wounded.
On July 6, ahead of the renewed fighting there were 413 WIA.
NEW: @PeteHegseth says the cost of the Iran war is now $37.5 billion "for certain aspects of it" and says it covers the pay for troop as well as operation and maintenance costs through Sept 30.
The last estimate was $29B, of which $24B was to replace munitions and for repairs

“When we let this slide we send a message to everyone from the T-6 drivers to the B-52 drivers that they can get away with it, too. And they will try.”
.@POTUS "111 missiles shot a few weeks ago were launched by our lovely friends from Iran — they were aimed at the Abraham Lincoln, which is a beautiful aircraft, by the way...
Out of the 111 missiles shot, 111 were knocked into the sea."
@judahforreal Which beggars the question why @DOWResponse didn’t include that in the quote in their post.
That said, POTUS also calls it the “SS Abraham Lincoln” which is incorrect.
🚨BREAKING:
