कर्नाटक कांग्रेस के गृह मंत्री प्रियंक खरगे के लिए बड़ा झटका।

बेंगलुरु की एक विशेष अदालत ने उनके तर्क को खारिज कर दिया कि RSS का कोई सदस्य आपराधिक मानहानि (criminal defamation) की शिकायत नहीं कर सकता, क्योंकि RSS एक पंजीकृत संगठन नहीं है।

अदालत ने फैसला सुनाया कि कानून के तहत किसी समूह की मानहानि के मामले में औपचारिक पंजीकरण जरूरी नहीं है और RSS को "निश्चित और पहचान योग्य निकाय (definite and identifiable body)" बताया।

बेंगलुरु की विशेष अदालत (XLII Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sandeep Patil) ने 27 जून 2026 को यह आदेश दिया।

शिकायतकर्ता RSS सदस्य तेजस ए. ने प्रियंक खरगे और मोहम्मद हरिस नलपाड के खिलाफ आपराधिक मानहानि का केस दर्ज कराया था।

अदालत ने प्रियंक खरगे का तर्क "पूरी तरह गलत और बिना आधार वाला" बताया और पिछले कई हाईकोर्ट व सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसलों का हवाला दिया, जिसमें RSS को "definite, determinate and identifiable body" माना गया है।

अदालत ने मामले में संज्ञान लिया और प्रियंक खरगे को 21 जुलाई 2026 को कोर्ट में पेश होने के लिए समन जारी किया है।
