A trader at Tema Community 4, Bismark Nimo Adansi, is earning praise for transforming the life of a mentally ill young girl who had been living on the streets for years.
The girl, identified as Charity, was a second-year student at Simms Senior High School before dropping out due to mental health challenges.
According to Bismark, he first noticed Charity about five years ago sleeping near his shop at night. Over time, he observed her condition and began reaching out, offering food and engaging her in conversation.
Recently, Bismark took a bold step to help Charity off the streets. He bathed her, shaved her matted hair, provided clean clothes, and began personally caring for her.
Charity is now noticeably improved, and Bismark continues to support her recovery by keeping her engaged and providing shelter.
Former classmates describe Charity as once a promising student. While her condition is improving, financial constraints have limited access to full medical care, and support is needed to complete her recovery journey.
I’m proud to join the Esports World Cup as Global Ambassador - standing with esports athletes who rise above and inspire the next generation.
