@Barrynevawrong the open world is one of the weakest aspects of ER, it's alright on the 1st playthrough when you don't know anything, but then you notice that half of the game is just running around on Torrent, at least there's something to look at (unless there isn't, thanks to the weather)

@Kahzun_ i'm all for freeing Ciri from her burden, but considering that it'll be a whole trilogy, i'd say it would be a lot more meaningful and would hit harder if it happened a little later than at the start of her very first game, still, i trust CDPR's plan

@Kahzun_ It does make sense, but it also takes away her uniqueness (though being a witcheress is still unique), her powers are huge part of her character and are easy to build a story around the, and also provide many possibilities for interesting game mechanics

@Maliykus well, he does believe he can do what Marika did, but better, without making the mistakes she did, and he's wrong, that's why Marika veiled the Shadow Realm - so that none of her children follow her path, but of course Miquella knows better

@Maliykus Miquella might've been driven by compassion at the start, but after abandoning his love and everything else there was nothing left in him except for pride, there's no compassion without love, also taking away people's free will is indeed evil
