Been so many years since I used that network service known as ICQ. Back in the day it was a place where you could talk with your friends...

Last Prophecy of the year was broadcast on Friday, stream it here: https://t.co/K7c4mW07CC

Congrats on the hard fought win boys, great game! 🇨🇦🏒

Grow your own food from seeds. Anytime between now and March 1st is the ideal time to start your pepper seeds. All you need is a small pot, some potting soil and a sunny window sill. Mix potting soil with water, 2 seeds per pot. Thin to 1 seedling and plant out doors May 2-4

@alancross Sounds like the plot to ‘Canadian Bacon’

I do enjoy a good woof, Die Spitz rocks! https://t.co/FTLnS4gqJx

Additional context: Grow More Pot was recorded in front of a live audience and released on Jello’s 3rd spoken word album, I Blow Minds For a Living. This was pre-podcast era, and Jello’s skills as a engaging frontman are on full display here

Why was Cannabis outlawed? Jello Biafra makes some fascinating connections in this bit from 1991 https://t.co/d5lwI4di1N

Dano left the original VHS tape at my parents house which I kept. I ripped it using a Panasonic AG-1980 SVHS deck, into a era appropriate Dazzle using via S-Video. Software was OBS using instructions from The Old School PC here https://t.co/nx5kX9Y5YV

Cool snowboarding video doc produced by my buddy from high school circa 2002. I think they fabricated the custom rail at my dad's shop but I can't remember. These guys loved to ride so much they couldn't wait for the season to start https://t.co/YD5wbzgLQc

Anyone who grew up using the old BBS systems from back in the day, like TAG, Wildcat!, Synchronet (still active!) must have been overjoyed to see this really cool little bit of software, nice job @bbssppllvv

Okay, OpenAI’s o3 is insane. Spent an hour messing with it and built an image-to-ASCII art converter, the exact tool I’ve always wanted. And it works so well

@Royal_Arse @CPC_HQ Not saying they don’t have any good ideas but this issue, you know, the whole Canadian economy at risk, became front and centre and he was the one prominent conservative who stayed on the sidelines.

[Mike @kubesincanada]

@Royal_Arse @CPC_HQ Yah that’s what the whole article was about, that as soon as the PM dropped out they didn’t change their messaging, then an opportunity landed right in their lap and others got busy working the issue, not on the last day but for weeks now

[Mike @kubesincanada]

@Royal_Arse @CPC_HQ lol ok but we all know that the stakeholder on the other side has a preference for cable news, the telephone and in person handshakes ;)

[Mike @kubesincanada]

@Royal_Arse @CPC_HQ All good ideas, but they still failed to meet the moment while others got down to business, getting airtime, meeting with stakeholders, working the phones and making the case for Canada. Gotta show you can play the game & manage a crisis

[Mike @kubesincanada]

@Royal_Arse Just gotta follow the money. In the short term American oil and gas refineries benefit because now they can raise their prices and make more money. If prices stay high for longer, some consumers may become motivated to purchase an American EV.

[Mike @kubesincanada]

@Royal_Arse Maybe, but I think the drug/border thing is just a cover. The USMCA agreement has a clause (2102) that would give the US an excuse to raise tariffs if they have national security concerns.

Sad to hear about the passing of Steve Albini. If you played in a band that was dialed in, no one could capture your sound quite like him. Surfer Rosa, In Utero, Blow It Out Your Ass It’s Veruca Salt, & In Utero 2013 Mix 🎙️ https://t.co/9Z53iyA1Hl
