I really don't have time for this, because I'm swamped with work. But I think there's a responsibility to educate the public against these frauds. So here we go.

Desi Crime has responded, and they want you to know, many times over, that they credited me 29 times in their video. They did. So let me name what those credits are standing in for. Not one of them was permission.

Their defence comes down to four claims. There is no plagiarism, because they credited me. Everybody cites authors and historians all the time; nobody owes them anything. The story was already public. And my real grievance, they say, is about money. Every one of them dodges a central question, but before that let's set their video beside my article and see, line by line, what they actually did. 🧵
