@evan7257 Congratulations! I have some perspectives and insights I'd be willing to share if you're interested. Very glad to have you back on the job there.
@HoustonDash@ChevronHouston Can you tell us what was the reason for that penalty kick last night? There was never an explanation provided, and no one I talked to at the game had any idea why it was called. Thanks!
@evan7257@StrosHorns1705 Yes! We attended a game in 2001, the one time I've been to Japan. It is truly not like anything you've ever experienced before. The fan enthusiasm is amazing. Go to a game, you won't regret it.
@SheaSerrano My nephew had a longtime dream to pie someone in the face, which my ever-the-good-sport sister (his mom) let him do once a few years ago. Same beautiful weirdo energy. Well done all around.
@kissphoria Hi! Thanks very much for the kind words. I confess I spend most of my time on the https://t.co/fwtqeRoObO site, so I don't see https://t.co/dlKgnls4p2 stuff as much. But I'll work on that. In the meantime, please feel free to send me links. Thanks!
@billkellytexas@Zindoctor "Day One" was October 13 that year. And that was a Tuesday because of Indigenous Peoples Day. So yet another variable to consider.
@billkellytexas@Zindoctor I'm waiting for the data from the Clerk. In 2020, we had that extra week of early voting because of COVID, so the comparisons are dicey. For the record, there were 128,082 in person early voters on Day One in 2020.
@pinstripealley I was at that game, with my dad. George Brett had hit three homers, but Munson put them on top for good. And the stadium absolutely went nuts.
@byjoelanderson Bought a lot of books there back in the day. It's a Trader Joe's now, and while I'm glad the building still exists, I miss the old BookStop.
@Grits4Breakfast I'm very sorry you're going through this. I wish you all the best, and as much peace and quiet as you can get while in the tin can with that dude.
