Megyn Kelly: “Trump has cheated on every wife he’s had. He met Marla Maples while he was married to the mother of his children Ivana. Ivana accused him of raping her. She alleged he was so angry over the hair transplant he got that she made him get, it was so painful that he raped her. He winds up with Melania and if you think Trump’s been faithful to Melania, you’ve got bigger issues than I can solve”
@AleMartnezR1@MucusMucous1@MartinTweats@grok Why doesn’t the bible just say that then instead of talking about faith. Why doesn’t it just say impossibility of the contrary is the evidence of things unseen.
This is presuppositional apologetics doing its little party trick: assume the Bible is the foundation of truth, then announce that anyone who does not accept the Bible has lost the foundation of truth. Marvellous. A circle drawn with a thicker crayon is still a circle.
Denying "God’s Word" does not mean denying truth. It means denying that one particular religious text has been established as the ultimate source of truth. I can reject biblical inerrancy while still accepting arithmetic, logic, evidence, correspondence with reality, historical method, scientific testing and the ordinary fact that some claims are true and others are rubbish.
The real comedy is that Christians themselves disagree endlessly about what "God’s Word" means, what it says, how literally to read it, which doctrines follow from it, and who has the authority to interpret it. Apparently the absolute foundation of truth comes with several thousand denominations and a customer-support queue.
So no, this is not why postmodernism happened. Postmodernism did not appear because people stopped letting Greg Bahnsen staple epistemology to a proof-text. This is just the usual panic: "If you don’t accept my preferred authority, you must have no standards at all."
I do have standards. That is largely why I don’t accept the argument.
Bill Maher: “The Islamophobia is just as bad. An argument is just a false equivalence. Can you name a Jewish professor who talks about Muslims the way they get talked about? No. Anti-Jewish crime—hate crimes now outpace anti-Muslim crimes 9 to 1. It’s not a contest… These are numbers.” “And Democrats where are you?”
Two weeks ago, Gazan women testified to a system of rape by Hamas to Palestinian women living in tents.
Last week, Gazan children testified to being raped by Hamas clerics.
This week, a report revealed the extent of sexual violence on Oct. 7th.
The NYT hasn’t written a word.
The New York Times falsely reported that Israel shelled a Gaza hospital - turned out to be a Hamas rocket.
It ran a front-page story portraying a child with cerebral palsy as evidence of mass starvation.
And now: “rape dogs.”
The @nytimes long ago stopped being a paper of record. It rushes to print sensational claims hoping their readers are stupid.
If British jews are to be held responsible for what happens in Gaza...then by the same reasoning British Muslims should be held responsible for the massacres of Christians by Muslims in Nigeria
Disgusting. Also cowardly. Attacking Jewish journalists for actions taken by world leaders one doesn’t approve of allows these bigots to let the powerful off the hook while running toward a prejudice that is in vogue.
Incredible Israeli Innovation!!
Israeli technology is giving people with paralysis the ability to stand up and walk again.
The ReWalk Exoskeleton, developed in Israel, is a wearable robotic suit that supports the legs and torso of people with spinal cord injuries.
Using advanced sensors, motors, and tilt-control technology, it translates the user’s body movements into natural walking motion, powered by a backpack battery.
Users can stand, walk, turn, and even climb stairs. What was once considered impossible is now a reality for many who thought they would never walk again.
From sitting in a wheelchair to standing tall and taking independent steps, this is life-changing freedom.
This isn’t science fiction anymore. It’s Israeli innovation restoring mobility and dignity to people who were told they never would.
Proud every single day. 🇮🇱

This will blow you away. Wow.
Most people have no idea Israel is about to change the lives of paralyzed people forever.
Tel Aviv University researchers, led by Prof. Tal Dvir and his team at Matricelf, have engineered the world’s first personalized human spinal cord tissue, grown from the patient’s own blood cells.
They reprogram the cells into stem cells, then build 3D spinal cord implants that integrate with the damaged area. Animal trials showed remarkable recovery.
Now, Israel’s Ministry of Health has approved compassionate use trials for the first patients. The goal? Helping people rise from wheelchairs and walk again.
This is regenerative medicine at its most powerful, no rejection risks because it’s your own cells.
The first historic surgery is expected in Israel soon.
Science fiction becoming reality, made in Israel.
Proud every single day 🇮🇱💪

despite what your local politicians tell you, the path to higher income for large populations is the services sector, not manufacturing.
v useful dataviz on the long term labor market
surprised in the best way to see my friend @mittromney drop in to introduce a talk i was giving in salt lake today.
we really need more leaders like mitt.
I’m researching a PhD on the Gaza war and I’m about to have a book published on the Gaza war and Israel wasn’t even close to committing genocide in Gaza.
🇺🇸 🇮🇱 Over 6,000 people in one of NYC's most iconic venues, Radio City Music Hall, singing together the Israeli national anthem, "Hatikvah", which means "Hope" in Hebrew.
This is so powerful.
