Haryana collected ₹10,097 crore in GST in September 2026 a strong reflection of the state’s economic activity.

But look at Gurugram, one of Haryana’s biggest economic engines. Beyond NH-8 and Dwarka Expressway, large parts of the city still struggle with poor internal roads, drainage, waterlogging, traffic management, street lighting, waste management and basic urban infrastructure.

The question is simple: Shouldn’t the city generating such significant economic value get infrastructure matching its contribution?

Gurugram needs planned, accountable and time bound civic development not just showcase corridors.
