The Switch 2 dumps have given us access to proper 3D models of previously 2D-only Wonder assets thanks to Mario Tennis Fever. These and the Mario model are so high poly, they were clearly made for renders, not to be used in real time. It's crazy that these run in-game.

For reference; the flower topiary thing has a tri count of roughly 90k, the same as a small Mario Kart 8 Deluxe track, and yet appears like this in-game. It was also implemented so carelessly that you can see floating edges due to back-face culling.
