Important AI Literacy in 2025

• AI frontier models or large language models (LLMs) are advanced pattern-matching tools. Their performance depends on the quality and coverage of their training data.

• Chatbots are designed to mimic human conversation, but they are not conscious or alive. This is a design choice, not digital life.

• AI itself is not intelligent or smart. The intelligence comes from the data it is trained on and the quality of its outputs.

• A great output does not make AI smart, just as a wrong output does not make it dumb. AI operates the same way regardless of whether you find the output correct or not.

• AI agents are simply processes that use LLMs to function.

• LLMs cannot reliably complete tasks or perform jobs without supervision and safety monitoring—at least not yet.
