Finally watched #Satluj last evening, and I can't stop thinking about it.

What a movie! @diljitdosanjh you’re an incredible actor. Thank you for bringing stories like this to us. All the actors were amazing, and the aesthetics and cinematography were absolutely top-notch.

About the story, it’s as heartbreaking as it can get. I don't understand the outrage against it as it's a story about injustice, it has nothing against any religion. Why are some people so bent on opposing it? Have they even watched the movie or are they simply against it because it portrays the injustice done to Punjabis?

Every Sikh, and every Indian, should watch this movie. If this could happen once in Punjab, it can happen again.

We all grew up hearing about this era, about 1984, and about partition. But to see some of our history being played on a screen by our favorite actors, it's entirely a different experience!
