The global #AI race is being increasingly defined by asymmetry across the stack. While the #US remains dominant in frontier models, capital, and hyperscale infrastructure, #China combines growing model strength with scale in patents, publications, and open-model diffusion. For middle powers, the question is to secure leverage in selected layers of the stack and avoid forms of dependence that cannot easily be reversed.

@orfmiddleeast is hosting an online panel discussion "The Role of Middle Powers in the Age of AI" where the experts will assess how middle powers are increasingly seeking to build open #ecosystems, trusted regulatory environments, and high-value applications suited to their own talent base and digital maturity.
