Chennai Sanitation Workers are now protesting outside the Rippon building pressing for demands: permanent employment and maternity leave etc.
Tomorrow almost 3000 sanitation workers from 3 zones have called for a strike condemning DCP Geetha.

Why is this protest not getting the visibility like the previous protest that was held against DMK government?
Is the TVK network silencing media, organisations and activists who previously supported the sanitation workers?
Do activists and orgs give this soft treatment to TVK because there is no Sekar Babu, or Stalin now and there's no payment for anti-TVK content?
There are only a very few of us who support the workers then and now, no matter who's in power. In solidarity with all the sanitation workers demanding their right to fair wages, maternity leave and other welfare benefits.

It is deeply inhumane that members of indigenous tribal communities, who have rightfully received patta under the Forest Rights Act, 2006, are now being included in the Meghamalai encroachers list

It is high time that the present government intervened to resolve this issue immediately. The forest department’s actions have been cruel and unjust.

We earnestly request the Hon @CMOTamilnadu to take immediate action by issuing directions to the concerned District Collector to address this matter.

Furthermore, we urge the government to prioritise listening to the concerns of the tribal communities residing in these areas and to implement the Forest Rights Act in both letter and spirit.

Will the Higher Education Secretary be suspended too?

A Tahsildar can be suspended by the District Collector but on whose orders did the Secretary act? Revoking the order after the backlash does not erase everything

Why is the #TVK government afraid of Left student unions, the very organisations affiliated to the CPI/CPM, whose support it relies on?

If TVK is genuinely against NEET, passing a resolution is the easiest route just as the DMK did. But profiling students based on their Left affiliation is something colonial and undemocratic governments would do.

Even after the order was revoked, will college principals now unofficially target Left-affiliated students? These organisations have long raised issues ranging from basic campus amenities to wider civic concerns.

This needs answers, not just an order being withdrawn.
