Some senior lawyers of law firms had come over yesterday to my office and we had a good adda session. I asked them what role do they see for AI in law firms. What I heard was scary. They feel that soon legal AI will make positions of junior associates (1-3 years) redundant in law firms as AI is that good at legal research and basic drafting. My heart goes out to the young peeps who have just signed up for the 5 year degree.
