AUM Construction work starting at 5am 18th road Khar West! So unacceptable and no regard for local residents trying to get some sleep.
Authorities are turning a blind eye despite numerous calls to the police!
Pathetic governance @mybmc@CPMumbaiPolice@MumbaiPolice
@MumbaiPolice@mybmc After numerous phone calls to police and even 100 there is no action taken against construction work happening everyday starting at 5am and also on a Sunday! Totally unfair for residents trying to get a good nights sleep. Shame on you all for allowing this!
@LouStagner Lou seriously mate.. should they come back the next day and play another match… like the us open does for golf? Even that doesn’t make sense.. think of the logistical nightmare..! Why pick on another sport.. just accept it and move on.. that’s the rule
FFS
@LouStagner Chance of game going on for another 2,3,4 hours plus… can’t risk it..
I remember a Wimbledon tennis match going 70-68 in the 5th…
Sometimes it makes sense to have a shoot out
@Jaybird2433@MattMcC06033825@LouStagner First of all there way more than 200 divots on each hole in the landing zone towards the end of the week… imagine the pace of play! Also.. you could potentially go from one end of the fairway to the other just taking relief from divot to divot… thought about that? FFS 🤦♂️
@MattMcC06033825@Jaybird2433@LouStagner Yes people struggle to see this aspect. I know it’s unfair when your ball ends up in someone else’s divot in the middle of the fairway… but when it hits the sprinkler head and goes an extra 40 yards should you be forced to bring it back? Can’t take luck out of the game
@Jaybird2433@MattMcC06033825@LouStagner Call me old school.. but I think everyone should play the ball as it lies as much as possible… sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you get unlucky… that’s the game bud
@Jaybird2433@MattMcC06033825@LouStagner I guess not.. I’m just trying to look at it from your point of view - which seems to be that you deserve a good lie in the fairway every time.. but it doesn’t seem to apply to other parts of the course. I’m just saying play the ball as it lies - you don’t “deserve” anything champ
@Jaybird2433@MattMcC06033825@LouStagner I get that it’s GUR - but I’m against it because the rule will be abused and everyone will always have a good lie! So according to that logic, I’m not supposed to get a good lie in the rough.. that’s not how the course was designed right? but what if I do.. should I step on it?
@Jaybird2433@MattMcC06033825@LouStagner And yeah.. it’s ground under repair.. but then everyone will be taking relief unless the have a perfect lie every time they hit the fairway… doesn’t sound right to me…
@Jaybird2433@MattMcC06033825@LouStagner I know the difference mate.. just saying.. no one promised you a perfect lie just for hitting the fairway… sometimes you get a good break, sometimes a bad one.. can’t take luck out of the game…
@Jaybird2433@MattMcC06033825@LouStagner No bad lies in the fairway? Suppose you want a flat lie too? I don’t agree with relief from divots because everything was once a divot unless it’s a brand new course.. and people will start taking relief from the smallest depression. Then it just becomes lift clean and replace
@888thAirborne@LouStagner Wow.. seriously… there is a massive difference between playing your home course 4 times a week and having a good handicap and being a good tournament player
